Coronavirus

A Message from Pastor & Minister Chapman

It is crucial that as a community and as a church community that we do our best to reduce the spread of COVID-19, also known as the Coronavirus.  As we do our part by practicing social distancing and remaining in the safety of our homes with the exception of that which is necessary, we help to protect our loved ones but especially our elderly and those with compromised immune systems.

What To Do

Resources & Information Regarding the Coronavirus

Stay Home

On March 15, 2020, a state of emergency was declared in Erie, Niagara, Chautauqua and Cattaraugus counties. With the number of cases in western New York growing, remaining at home whenever possible is the best chance at slowing the spread of COVID-19 and infecting yourself and your loved ones.

Social Distancing

We realize there will be times that you need to leave the home. When it is necessary, avoid all gatherings especially those with 10 or more. Avoid crowds and maintain a distance of 6 feet from others. It is crucial that you avoid contact with those who have compromised immune systems for their protection.

Hand Washing

Wash hands often, supervising children, for at least 20 seconds with soap and water. This is especially important when coughing, sneezing or blowing your nose as well as when you have been in public places, have touched surfaces, money or exchanged goods with others.

Avoid Unnecessary Travel

All unnecessary travel should be avoided. Your risk of being infected greatly increases when traveling - including within the United States. It is important that you report any & all travel to employers (if you are still in the office) & family members - & adhear to 14-day self-quarantine guidelines even if you are showing no symptoms.

Medical Attention

If you or someone in your home is sick and exhibiting symptoms specific to COVID-19, contact a medical professional immediately and do not report to work. Follow your Doctor's orders, seek medical attention if necessary and self-quarantine yourself and your household to prevent potentially spreading it to others.
